Welcome to Idiosync (referred to as “the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using our mobile application and website (idiosync.chat), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Idiosync is a language learning platform providing both solo practice environments and social communication tools.
Spark (Free Tier): Access is subject to a strict fair-use limit of 50 messages per day, resetting at midnight local time. Attempting to bypass this daily limit via automated scripts, bots, or the creation of multiple accounts is an explicit violation of these Terms and will result in an immediate ban.
Paid Tiers (Lingua & Connect): Features and room creation limits are defined by your active subscription plan. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis, feature no lock-in periods, and can be cancelled at any time via your Account settings.
Idiosync uses passwordless “Magic Link” authentication. A secure token is sent directly to your designated email address to log you in.
The App permits users to submit text messages, upload a profile picture, create custom room names, and invite third parties via email links.
Ownership & Responsibility: You retain ownership of the content you post, but you grant Idiosync a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and transmit this content solely to facilitate your chat sessions. You are solely responsible for the legality and appropriateness of your content.
Community Standards: You explicitly agree not to post, share, or upload any content that is abusive, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringing on intellectual property rights.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Idiosync and its operators from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising directly from your User-Generated Content or breach of these standards.
We reserve the absolute right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account and access to the App if we determine that your conduct violates these Terms, disrupts the community, or threatens our server infrastructure.
The App incorporates automated systems and artificial intelligence (“AI Coach”, “Scenario Practice”) to simulate conversations and provide structured learning feedback.
“As-Is” Delivery: These features are provided strictly for educational practice “as-is”. Idiosync makes no warranties regarding the absolute factual, historical, or grammatical accuracy of AI-generated responses.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Idiosync shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, errors, or offensive outputs generated by its automated or AI conversational engines.
Due to the social, peer-to-peer nature of the Group Chat and Language Exchange features, you must be at least 18 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your region) to create an account on Idiosync.
